Stan founded Tenpenny Construction Company in 1982 and now serves as its President and CEO. Stan’s 26 years of experience in the custom home industry began in Ojai, where he worked as a craftsman, building custom cabinets and furniture.
Stan’s journey in construction literally took him from the trenches of foundation work to the highest level of carpentry and eventually to Durango Colorado, where he focused on building high-end custom homes.
While in Durango, Stan formed an alliance with the owner and founder of the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory proceeding to build multiple franchise stores for the company in California, Nevada and Arizona.
After returning to live in Ojai permanently, Stan formally established Tenpenny Construction Company and began what can only be called an incredible journey, building one-of-a-kind ocean front jewels as well as estate homes throughout the Ojai Valley, Santa Paula, Ventura, Camarillo, Montecito, and Santa Barbara.
