Chester
has worked with Tenpenny Construction since 2000, and has nearly three decades of
construction and management experience. After
attending architecture school at Montana State
University, Chester owned and operated a “Design-Build”
general contracting business for 18 years. He
designed and built dozens of custom homes in Montana
and Vermont specializing in timber-framed, full-scribe
and chink-style log homes. Chester is a “hands-on”
type of builder. He is skilled as a journeyman
carpenter, finish carpenter, plumber, and electrician
and has experience building complex concrete structures.
Chester is also a licensed
general contractor in the state of California.
His expertise even extends into the areas of
publishing and graphic design where he owned
and operated a national publishing company specializing
in homebuilder magazines.
